The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR, but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It features 30 clicks of adjustment that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the piston rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a kerb, it opens and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
