The DS Series shares the same base as the BR, but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It features 30-click adjustment that acts on both compression and rebound simultaneously, and the shock body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen equally at all speeds: when the shaft moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to travel upward without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
