The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
