The DS Series shares the same base as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to travel upward without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
