Description

What defines the DS Series is its digressive valve. Building on the BR architecture, it changes how the shock absorber reacts based on piston speed: high resistance during slow movements like braking, cornering, and acceleration, and significantly less during sharp impacts against curbing and bumps. The result is a car that is firm in corners without losing composure when the asphalt quality drops. Finished in satin chrome with 30 clicks of simultaneous adjustment.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW X1 U11 22+ (fwd). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer part number I-119-DS-DA.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 6/6.5 kg/mm.
