The DS Series shares the same base as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, making it more track-oriented. It features 30-click adjustment that acts simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body is finished in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to travel without transmitting the full impact.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
