Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body is finished in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
