What defines the DS Series is its digressive valve. Building on the BR architecture, it changes how the shock absorber reacts according to shaft speed: high resistance during slow movements for braking, cornering, and acceleration, and significantly less resistance during sharp impacts with curbs and bumps. The result is a car that is firm in corners and does not get unsettled when the asphalt deteriorates. Finished in satin chrome with 30 clicks of simultaneous adjustment.

The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
