Description

What defines the DS Series is its digressive piston. Based on the BR architecture, it changes how the shock absorber reacts to piston rod speed: high resistance during slow movements for braking, cornering, and acceleration, and significantly less resistance over sharp impacts from curbs and bumps. The result is a car that is firm in corners yet remains composed when the road surface deteriorates. Finished in satin chrome with 30 clicks of simultaneous damping adjustment.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW Z3 RWD (96-02) (inc Z3M OEM Central TM). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer part number I-10-DS-DA.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

There are 2 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as standard for this car is 5/8 kg/mm.
