The DS Series is based on the same platform as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is rapid, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to travel without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
