The DS Series starts from the same base as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more towards track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that act simultaneously on both compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen the same at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the adjustment from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
