The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It is adjustable with 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is rapid, such as when hitting a rumble strip, it opens up and allows the wheel to move upward without transmitting the full impact.

Ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
