The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the shaft moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to move upward without transmitting the entire impact.

The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
