The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on both compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: with the piston rod moving slowly, such as when braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
