Description

The DS Series shares the same base as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it more towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen equally at all speeds: when the rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

Complete kit for the four wheels of the Citroen DS3 FWD (09-15) (47 mm spindle). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference K-10-DS-DN.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 5.5/2.5 kg/mm.
