Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen equally at all speeds: when the rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when movement is rapid, such as hitting a curb, it opens and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

There are 2 stiffness combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as default for this car is 5/3 kg/mm.
