The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that act simultaneously on both compression and rebound, and the shock body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when movement is rapid, such as hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to move upward without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
