The DS Series shares the same base as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen equally at all speeds: when the rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
