The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that act simultaneously on both compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the piston rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is rapid, such as when hitting a rumble strip, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the full impact.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
