Description

The DS Series is based on the same platform as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, biasing it toward track use. It features 30-click adjustment that simultaneously controls compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide uniform damping across all speeds: when the shaft moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance to keep the body flat; when the movement is rapid, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to move upward without transmitting the entire impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda ACCORD CB7/CB5 FWD (90-97). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer part number A-04-DS-DS.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
