Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, tilting it toward circuit use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to travel upward without transmitting the entire impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda ACCORD CV1/CV2 FWD (18-22) (TURBO). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer part number A-153-DS-DN.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate of 6/5 kg/mm.
