The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjustable with 30 clicks that simultaneously affect compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the piston rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
