Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It features 30-click adjustment that simultaneously affects compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up to allow the wheel to travel upward without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda ACURA TL UA6 (04-08). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer part number A-20-DS-DS.

The ride height is adjustable independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate of 9/3.6 kg/mm.
