Description

The DS Series is based on the same platform as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when the movement is rapid, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to travel without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda CIVIC CR-X EF9/ED (88-91) (rear fork). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference A-33-DS-DA.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
