Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on both compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to move upward without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda CIVIC CR-X EF9/ED (88-91) (rear fork type). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference A-33-DS-DS.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
