Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but swaps the valve for a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to move upward without transmitting the full impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda CIVIC FD2 (06-10) (TYPE-R) (JDM). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference A-21-DS-DS.

The front axle supports camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
