The DS Series starts from the same base as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It adjusts with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the piston rod is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a rumble strip, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
