The DS Series shares the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which leans it more toward track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body features a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not dampen equally at all speeds: when the shaft is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens to allow the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
