What defines the DS Series is its digressive piston. Building on the BR architecture, it changes how the shock absorber reacts based on shaft speed: high resistance during slow movements for braking, cornering, and acceleration, and significantly less resistance over harsh impacts like curbs and bumps. The result is a car that is firm in corners without being unsettled when the road surface deteriorates. Finished in satin chrome with 30 clicks of simultaneous adjustment.
Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda CIVIC FL5 (23+) (TYPE-R). It uses an integrated rear setup: the spring and shock absorber form a single unit instead of being separate as in the stock equipment, allowing the rear ride height to be adjusted directly on the shock absorber. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Before you buy
Before installation, the chassis must be reinforced in the area of the rear mounts. The integrated assembly introduces loads that the original setup distributed differently, and BC Racing makes the kit's warranty conditional on this work being performed. This is a task for a specialized workshop and should be included in the budget.
