Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda PRELUDE BA8/9 BB1/9 (92-01). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer part number A-19-DS-DH.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
