The DS Series shares the same base as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It is adjusted via 30 clicks that act simultaneously on compression and rebound, and the shock body comes in a satin chrome finish. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
