Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which tilts it towards track use. It is adjusted with 30 clicks that simultaneously act on compression and rebound, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not dampen at the same rate at all speeds: when the shaft is moving slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the body flat; when the movement is fast, such as when hitting a curb, it opens and allows the wheel to move upward without transmitting the entire impact.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

There are 2 stiffness combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 5/8 kg/mm.
