Description

The DS Series is based on the same foundation as the BR, but replaces the valve with a digressive one, which gears it towards track use. It features 30-click adjustment that affects both compression and rebound simultaneously, and the shock absorber body comes in satin chrome. A digressive valve does not provide the same damping force at all speeds: when the piston rod moves slowly, such as during braking or cornering, it offers high resistance and keeps the chassis flat; when the movement is fast, such as hitting a curb, it opens up and allows the wheel to rise without transmitting the entire impact.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Hyundai I30 PD FWD (17+) (MULTI-LINK). Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer reference M-31-DS-DS.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 5/4.5 kg/mm.
