The DS Series is BC Racing's option for those who use their car on the track without giving up the ability to drive it on the road. It shares its construction with the BR, but features a digressive valve that stiffens the response during slow damper movements (braking, cornering, acceleration) and softens it during fast ones, allowing the wheel to react quickly when hitting a curb. Satin chrome body and 30 adjustment positions.
Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW M3 G80 / M4 G82 Competition xDrive (21+), 6.5/6.5 kg/mm. It comes in an integrated rear configuration: the spring and damper form a single unit at the rear instead of being separate as in the factory setup, which allows the rear ride height to be adjusted directly on the damper. Weighs 24 kg. Manufacturer part number I-135-DS-DH.
Features in the front and in the rear. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the adjustment from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Supplied with a single spring rate, 6.5/6.5 kg/mm.
Before you buy
Before installation, the bodywork must be reinforced in the area of the rear mounts. The integrated assembly introduces loads that the original setup distributed differently, and BC Racing conditions the validity of the kit on this work being performed. This is a job for a specialized workshop and should be included in the quote.
