What the ER Series provides is the ability to treat the two damping phases separately. Compression is adjusted in 30 clicks from the external reservoir, and rebound in another 30 from the top of the shock absorber. In practice, compression controls how much the nose dives when braking, which is where the grip for corner entry comes from, and rebound controls how quickly the suspension returns to its position. If the front end unloads too quickly, the car understeers.

The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
