What the ER Series provides is the ability to adjust the two damping phases separately. Compression is adjusted in 30 clicks from the external reservoir, and rebound in another 30 from the top of the shock absorber. In practice, compression controls how much the nose dives when braking, which is where grip comes from for turn-in, and rebound controls how quickly the suspension returns to its position. If the front end unloads too quickly, the car understeers.

The front axle supports camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 3 stiffness combinations available.
