What the ER Series provides is the ability to treat the two damping phases separately. Compression is adjusted via 30 clicks from the external reservoir, and rebound via another 30 from the top of the shock absorber. In practice, compression controls how much the nose dives under braking, which is where the grip for corner entry comes from, and rebound controls how quickly the suspension extends back up. If the front end unloads too quickly, the car understeers.

Features front and rear. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. There are 4 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 6/12 kg/mm.
