What the ER Series provides is the ability to treat the two damping phases separately. Compression is adjusted in 30 clicks from the external reservoir, and rebound in another 30 from the top of the shock absorber. In practice, compression controls how much the nose dives when braking, which is where the grip for corner entry comes from, while rebound controls how quickly the suspension returns to its original position. If the front end unloads too quickly, the car understeers.

The front comes with adjustable camber plates, camber and caster plates, or pillowball mounts depending on the application, and the rear features pillowball mounts. The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 2 stiffness combinations available.
Before you buy
The front pillowball mounts are a rigid anchor point without an elastic element, and in some chassis, they may transmit a slight tapping noise into the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber mounts avoid this effect.
