What the ER Series brings to the table is the ability to adjust both damping phases separately. Compression is adjusted in 30 clicks from the external reservoir, and rebound in another 30 from the top of the shock absorber. In practice, compression controls how much the nose dives under braking, which is where the grip for turn-in comes from, while rebound controls how quickly the suspension extends again. If the front end unloads too quickly, the car understeers.

The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
