The ER Series adds an external reservoir and, above all, separates compression and rebound adjustment. It maintains the construction of the BR and DS series, featuring a monotube damper and digressive piston, while adding 30 adjustable compression clicks from the reservoir plus another 30 for rebound from the top of the damper. This independence is especially useful when entering a corner: compression determines how the front end loads under braking, and rebound determines the rate at which it recovers when the pedal is released.

Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
