What the ER Series provides is the ability to treat the two phases of damping separately. Compression is adjusted in 30 clicks from the external reservoir and rebound in another 30 from the top of the shock absorber. In practice, compression controls how much the nose dives when braking, which is where the grip for corner entry comes from, and rebound controls how quickly the suspension returns to its position. If the front end unloads too quickly, the car understeers.

It comes in an integrated rear configuration: at the rear, the spring and shock absorber form a single assembly instead of being separated as in the factory setup, which allows for height adjustment of the rear axle directly on the shock absorber. Front mounts and rear . The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. The ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Supplied with a single spring rate, 6/6 kg/mm.
Before you buy
Before installation, the bodywork in the area of the rear mounts must be reinforced. The integrated assembly introduces loads that the original setup distributed differently, and BC Racing conditions the validity of the kit on this work being completed. This is a job for a specialized workshop and should be included in the estimate.
