The ER Series adds an external reservoir and, above all, separates compression and rebound adjustment. It maintains the construction of the BR and DS series, with a monotube shock absorber and digressive piston, while adding 30 clicks of compression adjustable from the reservoir plus another 30 for rebound from the top of the shock. This independence is particularly advantageous when entering a corner: compression determines how the front end loads when braking, and rebound determines the rate at which it recovers when releasing the pedal.
Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW M3 F80 / M4 F82 RWD (14-20), 3-bolt top mount. It features an integrated rear configuration: at the back, the spring and shock absorber form a single assembly instead of being separate as in the stock setup, which allows for rear ride height adjustment directly on the shock absorber. Front mounts and rear mounts . The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 2 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as default for this car is 6/6 kg/mm.
Before buying
Before installation, the chassis must be reinforced in the area of the rear mounts. The integrated assembly introduces loads that the original setup distributed differently, and BC Racing makes the validity of the kit conditional upon this work being done. This is a job for a specialized workshop and should be included in the quote.
