The HM Series combines in a single kit what BC Racing distributes across two other series: the inverted monotube shock absorber from the RM and the independent compression and rebound adjustment of the ER. Compression is regulated in 30 clicks via the external reservoirs, and rebound in another 30 from the bottom of the shock absorber. It comes standard with Swift springs. The reservoirs increase oil capacity, improve heat dissipation, and house the second piston of the linear dual-piston design.

Features in the front and in the rear. The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting during use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Before you buy
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, and between both parts is a grease that prevents metal-to-metal contact. It must be cleaned and replenished periodically to avoid noise; this is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock absorber. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series for track use and recommends the BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily-driven car.
