The HM Series combines in a single kit what BC Racing distributes across two other series: the inverted monotube shock absorber of the RM and the independent compression and rebound adjustment of the ER. Compression is adjusted in 30 clicks from the external reservoirs, and rebound is adjusted in another 30 clicks from the bottom of the shock. It comes standard with Swift springs. The reservoirs increase oil capacity, improve heat dissipation, and house the second piston of the linear dual-piston design.

Features in the front and in the rear. The front axle supports camber and caster adjustment, something not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the adjustment from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Before you buy
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, and between both parts is a grease that prevents metal-to-metal contact. It must be cleaned and reapplied periodically to prevent noise; it is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series for track use and recommends BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily driver.
