Ver descripción y características

Inverting the shock absorber is what sets the RM Series apart. With the oil and gas reservoir anchored to the body instead of the hub, unsprung mass is reduced: the wheel responds faster to every irregularity and maintains better contact with the ground. That same position protects the oil from heat generated by the brakes, so the damping holds up just as well on the last lap as it does on the first. It features a 42mm shaft, which is more resistant to lateral stress.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Cadillac ATS RWD (14-19). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer reference ZN-04-RM-MA.

The front features an inverted shock absorber with a pillowball top mount adjustable for camber, and the rear features rubber mounts or no mounts, depending on the application. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots for seal protection and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 6/12 kg/mm.

Before buying

The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, and between the two parts is grease that prevents metal-on-metal contact. It must be cleaned and replenished periodically to avoid noise; this is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock absorber. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series for track use and recommends BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily driver.

The front pillowball top mounts are a rigid anchor, without an elastic element, and on some chassis, they transmit a slight tapping noise to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber top mounts avoid this effect.
