The ZR Series brings 3-way damping to a price point previously only reached by much more expensive competition suspension systems. Each phase is adjusted independently: 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 of high-speed, and 30 of rebound. Ride height is also adjusted independently of piston travel and spring preload. Inside, a digressive piston and a dual-piston setup operate, with one housed in the shock absorber and the other in the reservoir.

Front mounts and rear mounts . The front axle supports camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 6 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as default for this car is 10/12 kg/mm.
Before you buy
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, and between both parts there is grease that prevents metal-to-metal contact. It must be cleaned and replenished periodically to avoid noise; this is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock. For this reason, BC Racing positions this series for track use and recommends BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily-driven car.
