With the ZR Series, weight transfers and sharp road impacts can be handled separately. Low-speed compression governs how the body settles during braking, cornering, and acceleration; high-speed compression handles kerbs and bumps; and rebound, which is independently adjustable, controls the wheel's return after each compression. These feature 20, 12, and 30 clicks respectively, with a digressive piston and dual-piston design.

Front mounts and rear mounts . The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 2 stiffness combinations available, including Extra Low configurations. The one BC Racing defines as standard for this car is 8/10 kg/mm.
Before buying
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, with grease applied between the two parts to prevent metal-on-metal contact. This must be cleaned and reapplied periodically to prevent noise; it is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series for track use and recommends the BR, DS, ER, or ZX series for a daily-driven car.
