The ZR Series brings 3-way damping to a price point previously only reached by much more expensive competition suspensions. Each phase is adjusted independently: 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 of high-speed, and 30 of rebound. Ride height is also adjusted independently of piston travel and spring preload. Inside, a digressive piston and a twin-piston system operate, with one housed in the shock absorber and the other in the reservoir.

It features at the front and at the rear. The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available on all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
There are 2 stiffness combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as default for this car is 8/12 kg/mm.
Before you buy
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, with grease applied between the two parts to prevent metal-on-metal contact. This must be cleaned and replenished periodically to prevent noise; it is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock absorber. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series for track use and recommends BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily-driven car.
Offset top mounts are not available on the HM or ZR versions.
