The ZR Series brings 3-way damping to a price point previously only reached by much more expensive competition suspension systems. Each phase is adjusted independently: 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 high-speed, and 30 rebound. Ride height is also adjusted independently of piston travel and spring preload. A digressive piston and a twin-piston setup work inside, with one housed in the shock and the other in the reservoir.

Features in the front and in the rear. The front axle allows for camber and caster adjustment, a feature not available in all applications. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Supplied with a single spring rate, 6.5/10 kg/mm.
Before you buy
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed within a threaded body, with grease applied between the two parts to prevent metal-to-metal contact. It must be cleaned and reapplied periodically to avoid noise; this is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series at the track and recommends the BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily-driven car.
In the HM version, the engine bay strut bar must be removed.
