The ZR Series brings 3-way damping to a price point previously only reached by much more expensive competition suspensions. Each phase is adjusted independently: 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 of high-speed, and 30 of rebound. Ride height is also adjusted independently of piston travel and spring preload. Inside, it features a digressive piston and a dual-piston system, with one housed in the shock absorber and the other in the reservoir.

The front axle supports camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the conical lower collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Before you buy
The shock absorber is a cartridge housed inside a threaded body, with grease between the two parts to prevent metal-on-metal contact. It must be cleaned and replenished periodically to avoid noise; this is simple maintenance that does not require opening or repressurizing the shock. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series for track use and recommends the BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily-driven car.
